Get New Zealand Writing

We signed up for the Get New Zealand Writing school kit which has amazing ideas and resources to help us develop our writing skills. So far room 6 has been working extremely hard to create a wonderful colour poem. We investigated what makes a great sentence and challenged ourselves to include nouns, adjectives, adverbs, verbs and similes!

I think we have done an amazing job, what do you think?

Safe and Strong Online

Continuing on from our amazing lesson with Mrs Lee in the Exploration Station, we have been working on our projects to share our knowledge on how to be safe and strong online. It is so important that we are aware of the dangers that could happen and what we can do if we don't feel safe. We really love coming into the Exploration Station where we can create games online with Scratch, film videos with our friends and make wonderful models and game boards. Rebecca and Danielle have already created and completed a video showing what they know about being safe and strong online. Check it out below.
