Chinese Lion Dance

A huge thank you to the AMAZING E-Pacs Lion & Dance Group for coming to Sunnyhills to show and teach us about the Chinese Lion Dance. We had so much fun listening to you and now know so much more about Chinese New Year.

I really loved when Tracey the lion dancer put on the costume and showed us how to do some of the lion dance steps. Which part did you like?

Hi Room 6. Weren't we lucky to have Mr Peter Low and Tracey come to share their knowledge about Chinese New Year and Lion Dancing. I liked the noise the cymbals made too.

Me too, I love the the noise the cymbals made.It reminds me other lion dance i see before. Can the school organised the lion dance to dance next time?

Continuing on from our amazing lesson with Mrs Lee in the Exploration Station, we have been working on our projects to share our knowledge on how to be safe and strong online. It is so important that we are aware of the dangers that could happen and what we can do if we don't feel safe. We really love coming into the Exploration Station where we can create games online with Scratch, film videos with our friends and make wonderful models and game boards. Rebecca and Danielle have already created and completed a video showing what they know about being safe and strong online. Check it out below.
