Kiwi Kids Cafe - Passion Project

Room 6 is embarking on a new inquiry unit... Passion Projects! These individual projects will delve into something that we are passionate about combined with something that we dislike or are worried about to create a solution for what we are worried about.

First we talked about what is passion. We decided that passion is when you love something and you are dedicated to giving your all to that thing. For instance, Poppy loves horses and horse riding. It is her passion and she dedicates as much time as she can to improving her skills as a horse rider.

Then we created some wonderings about a topic we are passionate about...


After that, we motivated and empowered ourselves with this Kid President video.

Now, we are planning at the planning phase of our passion projects. We are creating a driving question that we can research, create a product for and then present what we have done in week 8.
