Wow! What a Week!!!

This week was amazing. We were encouraged to walk to school for Road Safety Week and, to make each and everyday exciting, students who walked to school were allowed to dress up and be creative.

On Monday we saw lots of colourful and funny Super Hats! Tuesday brought us extra Funky Feet. When Wednesday came around, we were wowed with the Wacky, Crazy Hair. On Thursday, Miss Stuhlmann was very surprised to find so many Twins and Triplets in her class! Finally, on Friday, the WHOLE school embarked on a fabulous walk to the Pakuranga Sailing Club.

We had so much fun dressing up and embracing walking to school. I hope that even after Road Safety Week is done, we can keep up the walking.

I agree Room 6 it was a fabulous week and good on you all for getting into the spirit by dressing up and being great buddies to your junior class on the big walk. Great role models!!

Safe and Strong Online

Continuing on from our amazing lesson with Mrs Lee in the Exploration Station, we have been working on our projects to share our knowledge on how to be safe and strong online. It is so important that we are aware of the dangers that could happen and what we can do if we don't feel safe. We really love coming into the Exploration Station where we can create games online with Scratch, film videos with our friends and make wonderful models and game boards. Rebecca and Danielle have already created and completed a video showing what they know about being safe and strong online. Check it out below.
